Tasbih Counter (“the App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides digital dhikr counting, Qibla direction, and optional prayer time reminders. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is collected, used, and protected when using the App. We are committed to safeguarding your privacy and ensuring full transparency.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Location Data (For Qibla Direction Only)

The App requests location access to calculate the Qibla direction accurately. Your location is processed locally on your device and is not saved, transmitted, or stored on any server. Location is used only while accessing Qibla features and is never tracked in the background.

1.2 User-Entered Prayer Times

The App allows you to manually input your own prayer times. These values are stored only on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store any prayer times. Deleting the App permanently removes this information.

1.3 Technical Information

When your device connects to the internet, standard technical data may be exchanged automatically, such as device model, operating system version, IP address (temporary), app version, and anonymous crash data generated by Apple. This information is used only to maintain app stability and ensure proper functionality.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

• No names, email addresses, or phone numbers
• No contacts, photos, or media
• No location history
• No prayer times or dhikr content
• No tracking IDs or advertising identifiers
• No cookies or usage analytics
• No account or login information
• No payment or billing data
• No biometric or sensitive data

The App does not require account creation or personal identification of any kind.

3. Notifications

The App may request permission to send notifications for prayer reminders or custom dhikr alerts. All notifications are scheduled locally on your device. No data is sent to external servers. You can disable notifications at any time via iOS Settings.

4. Internet Connectivity

The App may connect to the internet for displaying online content, updating resources, or ensuring device compass calibration functions properly. The App does not use the internet to collect or transmit any personal data.

5. Third-Party Services

Tasbih Counter does not use analytics tools, advertising networks, external prayer time APIs, social media SDKs, or tracking technologies. No external services receive personal data from the App.

6. Local Data Storage & Security

All user-entered information, such as prayer times or dhikr counts, is stored only on your device. Location information is processed in real time and never saved. All communications use HTTPS/SSL security where applicable. Removing the App permanently deletes all data.

7. Children’s Privacy

The App is suitable for all ages and does not collect any personal information. It complies with COPPA, GDPR, and Apple App Store privacy requirements. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 or anyone else.

8. Your Rights

Because no personal data is collected or stored by us, there is no personal information to access, modify, delete, export, or restrict. You have full control over all data directly through your device. Deleting the App removes all stored data.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Any changes will be reflected with an updated “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes indicates acceptance of the new policy.
