A completely blind, depigmented cave beetle endemic to the limestone caves of Kentucky. It has extremely elongated legs and antennae as adaptations to navigating in total darkness.
Did You Know?
It locates cave cricket eggs by following chemical trails in total darkness, and a single beetle can consume dozens of eggs per night.
